Farewell Testimony Meeting
With 3 of our experienced present and past zone leaders going home, we felt it would be appropriate to have a final testimony meeting that included the members and investigators that had been touched and taught by these wonderful missionaries. As is usual in Luanda, the Cassequel chapel had no power the night of the farewell testimony meeting. But here in Angola, lack of power is just a mere inconvenience. So with several flashlights we crammed into the baptismal room to hear from the 6 youth from Angola who will be going on missions and then to hear the powerful testimonies from Elders Anhanha, Allison and Bauer - all by the faint light of flashlights. Even though it was incredibly hot in the small, packed room, the spirit was strong and we felt grateful for the work of the Lord here in this great country of Angola.
